Indeed, this market is already emerging in the US with the launch of a number of strips for colds, flu and allergy relief through the leading retailers. A significant number of products are also available aimed primarily at young children. BioFilm’s specialist experience in this technology means it is well placed to take advantage of further advances in this area and we are looking to explore future opportunities with suitable pharmaceutical partners.
Improved therapeutics can occur through faster onset of action or lower dosing which may also result in reduced side-effects and improved safety.
