Film products can treat a wide range of conditions simply and effectively through oral administration or topical application. Products currently in tablet, capsule, spray or tincture form are normally suited for development into a dissolving film format. Depending on the specific active ingredient, the upper volume limit for the active in a standard oral strip is around 30mg – 60mg. In typical applications, the dosage can be greater and is dependent upon the thickness of the film. |
